Our Team
Kelly Maloney (she/her), Doctor of Physical Therapy
Kelly combines her philosophy of treating the whole person - mind, body and spirit - in her approach to your pelvic floor journey. With a minor in psychology and background in orthopedic care, she incorporates nervous system regulation, empathizing and appreciating your story, and attuning to your posture and movement patterns into your plan of care. She has worked hand in hand with nutritionists, women’s health acupuncturists, psychotherapists, coaches, yoga instructors and OB/GYNs to respect each role in serving the most important one on the team, you. In her own time, she is a crazy runner, having competed in the Boston Marathon and international races in addition to teaching fitness classes locally. She holds additional training and coaching certifications, in which she loves to combine her passion for running and wellness with pelvic floor health. Whether it is relearning how to move in your body, developing greater self awareness, keeping you healthy and moving, or just an opportunity to learn something new about yourself, Kelly looks forward to guiding you with insight and tools to allow for your optimal well-being.
Jen’s interest in pelvic health was sparked when she was a physical therapy student and saw her mentor struggling to treat patients with obvious pelvic health needs. He encouraged her to specialize in pelvic health. During her graduate training, she gained experience in the treatment of urinary incontinence, bowel issues such as constipation and IBS, and sexual dysfunction such as pain with sex and limitation with orgasm.
Jen went on to earn a special certification, (the CAPP-OB), through the American Physical Therapy Association, recognizing her skills and abilities in working with pregnant and postpartum individuals. As a mother, Jen understands the difficulties of the postpartum period, and how pelvic floor physical therapy can help. She loves helping new parents overcome symptoms such as back pain and urinary leakage, while managing the daily demands of infant care such as feeding, carrying the car seat or lifting the stroller. With her own lifelong love of fitness, Jen also enjoys helping parents resume more high level physical activity, such as running and working out without symptoms.
In addition to working with patients during pregnancy and postpartum, Jen also loves treating women throughout the lifespan, and believes in a holistic approach to pelvic health treatment: addressing factors such as diet, sleep and stress in addition to posture and movement to help improve symptoms.
